We are pleased to announce the first Nordic Dance event, organized by Triple Step Studios and sponsored by the Scandinavian American Foundation of Georgia . The evening will begin with a one-hour instructional session on folk dance steps, tailored to suit all ages and skill levels, and will conclude with a simple line dance, Långdans från Sollerön. This will be followed by a 90-minute live music performance by Silkworm Smugglers, featuring schottis, polka, and waltz. Our esteemed instructors, Melissa Kacalanos & Bob Wyttenbach, will be joined by accomplished musicians George Norman, Keith Cornella & Erin Hennessy.
We are delighted to dance with you! We have the pleasure of occupying a beautiful old school house with a most marvelous wooden floor beneath us.
